Jennifer Bonnett was named general manager of the Advanced Technology Development Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. The center, founded in 1981, is one of the largest university-based startup business incubators in the nation. Bonnet joined the center in 2011.

Reshuna L. Mahone was appointed vice president for institutional advancement at Virginia State University. She is the former associate vice president for development at Spelman College in Atlanta. Earlier in her career, she held fundraising posts at the University of Miami, Georgia State University, the University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida.
Mahone is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she majored in business administration with a concentration in information sciences. She holds an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
Rhonda Maneval was named executive associate dean for academic nursing at the Lienhard School of Nursing at Pace University in Pleasantville, New York. She has been serving as an associate professor and director of undergraduate nursing education at Michigan State University.
Dr. Maneval holds a bachelor’s degree and an educational doctorate from Pennsylvania State University. She also earned a master’s degree in nursing education from Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
Monecia Taylor was appointed associate vice president for principal gifts in the Advancement Division at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. She has been serving as associate director for external affairs at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum.
Taylor is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she majored in business administration.
Michelle Dhunjishah is the new director of the Children’s Law Center at the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is the former executive director of the South Carolina Foster Care Review Board.
Dhunjishah received a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Texas and a juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law.
Denise Drury Homewood was appointed executive director of the Bardo Arts Center at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. She was the executive director of the Fine Arts Museum at the university.

FeRita Perna Carter was named vice president of student services at Riverside City College in California. She is the former dean of the School of Business and Technology at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Dr. Carter is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she majored in industrial and systems engineering. She holds a master of public administration degree from the Montgomery campus of Auburn University in Alabama and a Ph.D. in public policy and administration from Mississippi State University.
Kara Turner was promoted to vice president of enrollment management and student success at Morgan State University in Baltimore. She has been serving as associate provost for enrollment management and student success for the past five years.
Dr. Turner will be directing the university’s effort to push the student graduation rate to over 50 percent by the year 2025.
Gloria Thomas is the new director of the Carolina Women’s Center on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the former director of the Center for Education of Women at the University of Michigan. Earlier in her career, Dr. Thomas was an associate director at the American Council on Education.
A graduate of Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, Dr. Thomas holds a master’s degree in English education from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in higher education from the University of Michigan.
Heather MacCulloch was named director of athletics at Baruch College, a campus of the City University of New York. She is the first woman to hold the post in the 48 years the college has offered an athletics program. For the past four years, MacCulloch has been the director of athletics at the SUNY-Maritime College in The Bronx, New York.
MacCulloch is a graduate of Concordia College in Bronxville, New York, where she was a star pitcher on the softball team. She holds a master’s degree in sports management from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.
Teresa Paulsen will be the new chief communication and marketing officer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been serving as vice president for communications, marketing, and external relations for ConAgra Foods in Omaha.
Paulsen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she majored in journalism. She earned a master’s degree in communication at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
K.M. Reeder was appointed associate dean for research in the College of Nursing at South Dakota State University. She was a research associate professor at Barnes-Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri.

Rikki Turner was promoted to assistant vice provost for student affairs and auxiliary services at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. She joined the university’s staff in 2008 and for the past year has served as associate dean of students and interim executive director of student housing.
Turner holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a master’s degree in college student personnel services from the University of Central Arkansas. She is studying for an educational doctorate at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
Sara Frederic is the new director of development for the College of Arts and Sciences at Mississippi State University in Starkville. She has been serving as manager for strategic projects and communications for Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Jackson, Mississippi.
