Four Women Announce Their Retirements From High-Level University Posts

Wallace,Sarah Wallace, the O. Leonard and Helen S. Moretz Family Professor of Business at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, is retiring after teaching at the university for 38 years.

Professor Wallace is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University and holds a master’s degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.

Delores Taylor, associate vice provost for enrollment services in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Services at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, is stepping down after 35 years at the university. She joined the staff at the university in 1979 on an hourly wage as a career planning and placement counselor.

Taylor was worked in many posts during her 35-year tenure, including serving as director of undergraduate admissions.

efimovaAlla Efimova, the Reutlinger Director of the Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life at the University of California at Berkeley, is stepping down on June 30. She has been associated with the Magnes Collection for 10 years.

Dr. Efimova holds a Ph.D. from the University of Rochester.

Crump_LindaLinda R. Crump, assistant to the chancellor for equity, access, and diversity programs at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, is retiring on June 30. She is the former chair of the Nebraska State Bar Association.

Crump is a graduate of the City College of New York, where she majored in biology. She is also a graduate of the College of Law of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
