Four Women Named Deans

SheilaDynanSheila J. Dynan was appointed dean of the School of Health Studies at Berkeley College. She was chair of the allied health and fitness program at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey.

Dr. Dynan is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston. She holds a master’s degree from Montclair State University in New Jersey, a master of social work degree from New York University, and a doctorate in medical humanities from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.

sherri-coleSherri A. Cole was named dean of the College of Health Sciences at Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was dean of allied health and professional development at Aultman College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Canton, Ohio.

Dr. Cole is a graduate of Malone University in Canton, Ohio. She holds a master’s degree from Baker College for Graduate Studies in Flint, Michigan, and a Ph.D. in applied management and decision sciences from Walden University.

Horton-MTMarsha Taylor Horton was named interim dean of the College of Education, Health, and Public Policy at Delaware State University in Dover. She has been serving as associate professor and dean of the School of Education at Virginia Union University in Richmond.

Dr. Horton is a graduate of Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She holds a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois.

SoleMary Lou Sole is the new interim dean of the College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She has been serving as a Pegasus Professor, the highest faculty rank at the university.

Dr. Sole is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens. She holds a master’s degree from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
