Christine Loose has been appointed director of strategic partnerships at Lakeland University in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Most recently, she was executive director of the Lakeshore College Foundation. Earlier, she spent over two decades with Kohler Corporation, a Wisconsin-based manufacturing company.
Loose is a graduate of St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.
Dayna Hardaway has been named assistant vice president for human resources at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. With over three decades of experience in education and leadership, she most recently served as executive director of human resources for Wichita Falls Independent School District in Texas.
Hardaway is a two-time graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education and her master’s degree in educational leadership.
April Meyer has been named director of admission at Mount Marty University-Watertown in South Dakota. Her appointment marks a return to the university, where she previously served as an admissions counselor. Most recently, she was the chief executive officer and administrator at Watertown Christian School.
Meyer holds a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Mount Marty University-Watertown.
Michelle Manno has been appointed associate provost for community enrichment at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She joined the Northwestern staff in 2022 as the associate provost for diversity and inclusion and has served as interim chief diversity officer since January 2024. Prior to Northwestern, she was assistant vice chancellor of diversity initiatives at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Dr. Manno received her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and Ph.D. in sociology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ashley Griffin has been named chief of police for the University of Colorado Boulder. She comes to her new role from the University of Texas at Austin, where she most recently served as assistant chief of police. She has been with the UT Austin Police Department for nearly two decades.
Griffin is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Indiana University and a master’s degree in public safety from the University of Virginia.
Kayla Nichols has been named the permanent associate vice president for enrollment management and director of undergraduate admissions at Virginia Tech. She has served in the position on an interim basis for the past four months. She has held progressive leadership roles with the Virginia Tech Office of Undergraduate Admissions for over a decade.
A two-time Virginia Tech alumna, Nichols holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs.
Allison Stockweather has joined the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as director of research operations and environmental health and safety for the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering. For the past five years, she has managed the environmental health and safety program at the North Carolina Research Campus.
Stockewather holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Carolina.
Khalilah Doss has been named vice president for student affairs at California State University, Fullerton. She currently serves as vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Middle Tennessee State University. Earlier, she was vice president for student affairs at the University of Southern Indiana.
A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Doss received her bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, and marketing from McKendree University in Illinois, a master’s degree in public administration and policy analysis from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a doctorate in educational administration and higher education from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Julia T. Davis has been promoted to senior vice president for finance and administration at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. Prior to her new role, she was vice president for finance and treasurer. She has held internal audit and financial roles with the university for nearly three decades.
Davis holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting from Georgia College and State University.
