Catherine Cerulli Named Director of the Susan B. Anthony Center for Women’s Leadership

Catherine Cerulli was appointed director of the Susan B. Anthony Center for Women’s Leadership at the University of Rochester in New York State. As director of the center, Dr. Cerulli will aim to create and implement programs to celebrate’s women’s achievements and work to overcome the remaining barriers standing in the way of true gender equality.

Dr. Cerulli joined the faculty at the University of Rochester in 2002 as an assistant professor of psychiatry at the medical school. Most recently, she served as director of the Laboratory of Interpersonal Violence and Victimization. She also serves as director of research at the Women, Children, and Social Justice Clinic at the University at Buffalo’s School of Law. Dr. Cerulli co-founded the clinic in 1992.

Dr. Cerulli is a graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law and holds a Ph.D. in criminal justice from the State University of New York at Albany.
