New Administrative Duties for Six Women at Colleges and Universities

Neena Imam has been named the inaugural Peter O’Donnell, Jr. Director of the O’Donnell Data Science and Research Computing Institute at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She has been serving as director of strategic researcher engagement (North and Latin Americas) at NVIDIA, the accelerated computing leader.

Dr. Iman is a graduate of the California Institute of Technology. She holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jennifer Wells-Marshall was appointed associate director of the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service at Alabama A&M University. Before accepting her current appointment, Dr. Marshall worked at Pennsylvania State University to develop Children, Youth, and Families at Risk programming.

Dr. Marshall is a graduate of Tuskegee University in Alabama, where she majored in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in human development and family studies and a doctorate in educational psychology from Auburn University in Alabama.

Heather Martinez is the new associate vice president for finance and controller at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. She was the controller at Carthage College in Wisconsin.

Martinez is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Parkside in Kenosha, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business.

Carme Williams has been named advancement consultant and interim vice president of development and alumni affairs at Texas Southern University. She is the former vice president of development at Prairie View A&M University.

Williams received a bachelor’s degree from the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Corinne Fuller has been appointed as the co-director of the Washington State University-Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Bioproducts Institute. Fuller was the manager of the bioenergy technologies programs at the laboratory. Founded in 2018, the institute is a joint research collaboration between the university and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Fuller received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a master’s degree in chemical and environmental engineering from the University of California, Riverside. She holds a master’s degree in organizational development and change from Fielding Graduate University and an MBA from Washington State University.

Kylie Forrester was promoted to director of the Center for Student Activities at Mississippi State University. She was the associate director. Forrester has been on the university’s staff since 2008.

Forrester earned a bachelor’s degree in educational psychology and a master’s degree in student affairs in higher education from Mississippi State University.
