Zeenat Rahman was named the executive director of the University of Chicago Institute of Politics. She has been serving as director of the Inclusive America Project at the Aspen Institute in Washington, D.C. Earlier, she was acting director at the Center for Faith-based and Community Initiatives at the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Rahman is a native of the Chicago area and a graduate of the University of Illinois, Chicago. She earned a master’s degree in Middle Eastern studies from the University of Chicago.
Rachel White will be the inaugural assistant vice chancellor for marketing in the Division of Communication at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Most recently, she was a senior director of marketing at Dollar General stores.
A Tennessee native, White earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She holds a master’s degree in political science from Ohio State University and an MBA from Duke University.
Sasha Johnson-Coleman is the new vice president for institutional advancement at Denmark Technical College in South Carolina. She is the former assistant vice provost at Wiley College in Marshall, Texas. Earlier, she served on the faculty at Norfolk State University in Virginia.
Dr. Johnson-Coleman is a graduate of the University of Richmond in Virginia. She holds a master’s degree in Slavic languages and literature from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Georgia.
Anya Rader Wallack was named senior vice president for strategic communications for the University of Vermont Health Network. She has been serving on the faculty of the School of Public health at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Wallack holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and master’s and doctoral degrees from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Jamina Scippio-McFadden was appointed director of the Houston campus of Our Lady of the Lake University. She most recently served as director of the Center at Springfield of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She joined the UMass Center in 2014 as the director of marketing and community relations.
Scippio-McFadden received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida. She earned a master’s degree in communications from the University of Florida.
Julie Myers has been promoted to vice president and chief information officer at the University of Rochester. She was serving as deputy chief information technology officer. Myers joined the University in 2006, after two decades in leadership positions in information technology at Eastman Kodak Company and Xerox Corporation.
Myers earned an executive MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management information systems from the State University of New York at Albany.
Crystal S. Neuhauser is the new vice president of institutional advancement at Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She was the associate vice president of advancement at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire.
Neuhauser earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Quinnipiac University and is currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership from New England College.
Leslie Fountain Williams was recently named vice president of finance and administration at Centralia College in the state of Washington. She has been serving as chief of staff to the president and board of trustees liaison at Helene Fuld College of Nursing in New York City. Earlier, Dr. Fountain Williams was manager of finance at the University of Oregon.
Dr. Fountain Williams is a graduate of the College at Brockport in New York, where she majored in accounting. She holds master’s degrees from the University of Rochester and Roberts Wesleyan College in New York and a doctorate in adult and higher education from Oregon State University.
