Bay Path University, a women's college in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, has announced that it is launching a new undergraduate major in risk management and cybersecurity. The new program will include coursework in data privacy, project management, crisis management, and incident recovery.
Doran currently serves as president of Salem Academy and College in North Carolina, the oldest educational institution for girls and women in the United States. Earlier, she was chief of staff, vice president, and general counsel at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A new study published by the American Women's College at Bay Path University in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, reveals that 76 million adult women in the United States do not have a bachelor's degree. Many of those 76 million women had started their educational journey, but were unable to graduate as a result of various life factors.
The Department of Education selected 24 programs and is providing $75 million in funding for grants designed to increase college access for more Americans or to reduce costs. Among the first recipients of the grants are Bay Path University and Bryn Mawr College.
