Coffey was named provost and dean of faculty at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York, and Margaret Fitzgerald was named interim provost at North Dakota State University.
In its 114-year history, the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown University has had only six presidents. All have been nuns. When Dr. Helen J. Streubert takes the helm on June 30, she will be the first lay leader of the college.
