Andrea Bastiani Archibald has been named the Constance Hess Williams ’66 Director and Assistant Vice President of the Athena Center for Leadership at Barnard College, a women’s liberal arts educational institution in New York City. Dr. Archibald has more than two decades of experience building leadership programs for girls and women. She previously spent 10 years as the chief girl and family engagement officer and chief girl expert at the Girl Scouts of the USA. More recently, Dr. Archibald has been a consultant for nonprofits dedicated to supporting girls and women.
A graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, Dr. Archibald received her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Columbia University in New York City.
Rachel Raimist has joined the faculty of the University of Texas at Arlington as the Morgan Woodward Distinguished Professor of Film and Video. A filmmaker and television director, Dr. Raimist has previously taught and held leadership roles at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Columbia College Chicago’s Los Angeles program, Elon University’s Los Angeles program, the University of Alabama, the American Film Institute, and the Sundance Institute.
Dr. Raimist earned her bachelor’s degree and master of fine arts degree in film directing from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her Ph.D. in gender, women, and sexuality studies from the University of Minnesota.
Meredith Malone was recently installed as the Nancy and Kenneth Kranzberg Curator at the Washington University Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Malone first joined the Kemper Art Museum in 2006 as a postdoctoral fellow. Over the past 20 years, she has risen to the role of senior curator and organized numerous exhibitions, programs, and acquisitions. She specializes in post-World War II art practices in Europe and the United States and in global contemporary art.
Dr. Malone is a graduate of George Washington University, where she majored in art history. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in art history from the University of Pennsylvania.
