Three Women Appointed to the Faculty at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York

Mackenzie Cooley is a new assistant professor of history at Hamilton College. She was a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cornell University Society of Fellows.
Dr. Cooley is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She earned her master’s degree and Ph.D. from Stanford University where she specialized in early modern history and history of science.
Rhea Datta is a new assistant professor of biology at Hamilton College. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at New York University.
Dr. Datta holds a bachelor’s degree from Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and a Ph.D. from Indiana University.
Susan Jarosi has joined the faculty at Hamilton College as an associate professor of art history. She previously held joint appointments as associate professor of art history and visual studies in the women’s and gender studies and fine arts departments at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Jarosi received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree from the University of Illinois Chicago, and a Ph.D. from Duke University.
