Westfield State University in Massachusetts has announced a field of three candidates who are finalists for the position of president of the university. The university, located west of Springfield, enrolls about 5,600 undergraduates and more than 700 graduate students. Women make up 53 percent of the undergraduate students.
The three finalists for president of the university will all visit campus over the new two weeks to engage in a series of interviews and forums. One of the three candidates is a woman.

Dr. Vaden Goad holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in psychology, all from the University of Houston.
