Shelley M. Moss was appointed director of admissions at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She has been serving as interim director since May 2013.
Moss earned a bachelor’s degree in history at the Mississippi University for Women in 2004 and is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program in health education.
Katie Buckley Giacalone was named director of the Center for Watershed Excellence at Clemson University in South Carolina. She has been serving and will continue to serve as statewide coordinator for Carolina Clear, a program of the center that focuses on stormwater education and awareness.
Giacalone holds a bachelor’s degree in marine science and a master’s degree in environmental science.
Emily Ballew Neff will be the next director of the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art at the University of Oklahoma. Since 1997, she has been the curator at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. She will begin her new job on January 1.
Dr. Neff is a graduate of Yale University. She holds a master’s degree in art history from Rice University in Houston and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Amy Noah is the new vice president for development at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She had served in the post on an interim basis since April 1. She has worked in the university’s development office for 12 years.
Noah is a 1994 graduate of Purdue University.
Jennifer P. Peluso was promoted to assistant provost for student success at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. She was director of the Scholarship for Teaching program at the Center for Teaching and Learning and also serves on the faculty of the psychology department.
Dr. Peluso holds a Ph.D. from Emory University in Atlanta.
