Ashley Bianchi was appointed director of student financial aid at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. She has been serving as director of financial aid at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. She will begin her new duties on July 1.
Bianchi is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She holds a master’s degree in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina.
Paquita Davis-Friday was named executive director of graduate programs for the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York City. She has been serving since 2006 as a tenured associate professor of accountancy at the business school.
Dr. Davis-Friday holds a bachelor’s degree, two master’s degrees, and a Ph.D. in business administration, all from the University of Michigan.
Lisa Woodward-Mink is the new director of planned giving at Sacramento State University in California. She was the chief philanthropy officer for the Mercy Foundation in Folsom, California, and previously held fundraising posts at the University of California at Davis.
Woodward-Mink is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York.
Christi Hurt was appointed Title IX coordinator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been serving as director of the university’s Carolina Women’s Center. Earlier in her career she was the acting executive director of the Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs in Olympia, Washington.
Hurt holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master of public administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Sharon Belden Castonguay was selected as the next director of the Wesleyan Career Center at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. She has been serving as director of the Graduate Career Management Center of the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York.
Dr. Castonguay is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She earned a master’s degree from the University of Michigan and an educational doctorate from Harvard University.
Maureen Redeker was appointed assistant general counsel at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. She was an administrative law attorney in the judge advocate general’s office at the U.S. Army Command in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Redeker is a graduate of Maryville University in St. Louis, where she was captain of the basketball team. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the Florida State University College of Law.
