Caroline Nobo has been appointed director of the Weissman Center for Leadership at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Nobo comes to the women’s college from Yale Law School, where she served as a research scholar in law and as executive director of the Justice Collaboratory. Prior to joining Yale, she was the director of data outreach for the nonprofit organization Measures for Justice
Nobo is an alumna of Mount Holyoke College, where she majored in sociology. She holds a master’s degree in criminology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Felicia Ellzy-Smith is the new chief of staff at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York. She first joined the college in January 2025 as chief diversity and compliance officer. Earlier in her career, she was director of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland.
Ellzy-Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master of education degree from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania.
Atia Garrett-Washington was appointed vice president of enrollment management at Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Garrett-Washington previously served as executive director of recruitment, admissions, and programming at the university. Before joining the Dillard administration, she was executive director of admissions, recruitment, and dual enrollment at Southern University at New Orleans.
Dr. Garrett-Washington is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she majored in applied sciences with a focus on informatics. She holds a master’s degree in educational technology leadership and a doctorate in adult learning and development from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
