The appointments are Caroline Nobo at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, Felicia Ellzy-Smith at Dutchess Community College in New York, and Atia Garrett-Washington at Dillard University in New Orleans.
Dr Edington was provost and dean of academic affairs at Norwalk Community College in Connecticut. Before joining the staff at Norwalk Community College nine years ago, she worked for 19 years at Middlesex Community College in Massachusetts.
