Jill Williams to Lead the Moore County Campus of Amarillo College

Alicia “Jill” Williams has been appointed dean of operations for the Moore County Campus of Amarillo College in Texas.

Most recently, Williams served as the assistant director of continuing education and workforce development at the MCC-Technical campus. In addition to her work at Amarillo College, she serves on the board of trustees for Dumas Independent School District in Texas. She previously worked for the school district as an instructional coach.

“AC’s Moore County Campus is a supportive, welcoming space for students to start their educational journey, and I will continue the amazing work that has been the history of this campus as we continue to grow and develop,” said Williams. “The staff and faculty at this campus go above and beyond to help students meet their goals. I am excited to come on board and collaborate with Moore County and surrounding communities and help them connect with us at Amarillo College to create even more opportunities for student success in this community.”

Williams is a graduate of what is now Texas State University, where she majored in English. She holds an MBA and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from West Texas A&M University in Canyon.
