Tina Post, assistant professor of English at the University of Chicago, has received the National Book Circle Award in Criticism. Dr. Post has been with the University of Chicago for the past six years, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in the university's department of English language and literature.

Dr. Sandeen has been serving as chancellor of the University of Wisconsin Colleges and University of Wisconsin Extension. Earlier, she held leadership positions at University of California campuses at Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco. She will begin her new job on September 15.
Lori Carrell has been serving as interim chancellor since last August. Prior to joining the staff at the University of Minnesota Rochester in 2014, Dr. Carrell was the director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Geleta at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Michelle L. Bell at Yale, Kathryn Westcott at Juniata College and Diana H. Fishbein at Penn State.
Sherry Simpson, an associate professor in the department of creative writing and literary arts at the University of Alaska-Anchorage, has been selected to receive the 2015 John Burroughs Medal.
Dr. Vandever was a professor emerita of mathematics at South Dakota State University and former professor at Matanuska-Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska, a campus of the University of Alaska-Anchorage.
