The women appointed to diversity positions in higher education are Marilyn Ortega at Virginia Tech, Christine Navia at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Ha Nguyen at Pierce College in Washington, and Renee Wells at Queens University of Charlotte North Carolina.
Her higher education experience included academic appointments at the University of Tennessee and Georgia Perimeter College. After she retired, Deierhoi served the lifelong learning programs at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. and Florida Atlantic University.
Ada Limón has taught in the Queens University of Charlotte master of fine arts program since 2014, both in Charlotte and in Latin America. LimoÌn was born in Sonoma, California, in 1976 and is of Mexican ancestry. She earned a master of fine arts degree from New York University. LimoÌn is the author of six poetry collections.
The nine women named to dean positions are Arpana G. Inman, Malin Pereira, Twinette Johnson, Nicole Becker Hoerschelmann, Sherry Ryan, Janelle L. West, Kendra Hall-Kenyon, Dara N. Byrne, and Amy Lynn Seybert.
Kelly Wilkinson was appointed dean of the Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University in Ohio. Jullet Davis Weaver will be the dean of the Blair College of Health at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Karen Gaines was appointed provost and dean of the faculty at Norwich University in Vermont.

Anne Marie Liles was director of experiential affairs and clinical associate professor of pharmacy practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Before joining the faculty at the University of Mississippi, Dr. Liles served on the faculty at the Harrison School of Pharmacy at Auburn University in Alabama.

Dr. Lynn M. Morton has spent 27 years on the faculty at Queens University of Charlotte. Since 2014, she has been serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs.When she takes office on July 1, she will be come the first woman to serve as president of Warren Wilson College.
