The appointments are Ana Pombo at Johns Hopkins University, Alicia Drais-Parrillo at Pennsylvania State University, Tracey Stuller at the College of Southern Maryland, Tara M. Randis at the University of South Florida, and Jennifer Choy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Effective August 1, Dr. Pratt will lead Penn State's campuses in Hazelton, Scranton, and Wilkes-Barre. She comes to her new role from Virginia Tech, where she most recently served as vice president for strategic affairs.
The women who have been selected for endowed faculty appointments are Maria Geisinger at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Indira U. Mysorekar at Pennsylvania State University, Triparna Sen at Ohio State University, and Jennifer Lemke at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

The new deans are Emily Metzgar at Pennsylvania State University, Betsy Becker at the University of South Dakota, Samantha Penney at Hampton University in Virginia, and Kate Klepper at Babson College in Massachusetts.
Mechthild Tegeder of Washington State University, MarÃa P. Aranda of the University of Southern California, Andrea Hohmann of Indiana University, and Rupali Chandar of the University of Toledo have all been granted prestigious faculty titles. Professor Karin Öberg was named senior vice provost for faculty at Harvard and Professor Tonya Peeples was appointed a special adviser to the provost at Penn State.
Katherine Macfarlane of Syracuse University is chair of the Association of American Law Schools' section on Women in Legal Education and Tahira Probst was granted the title of Regents Professor at Washington State University. Karen Thole and Judy Schaechter are taking on leadership roles at Pennsylvania State University and the University of Vermont, respectively.
The new deans are Vanessa Vásquez at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Jessica Retrum at Metropolitan State University of Denver, Gwendolyn Lloyd at Pennsylvania State University, Katie Hartman at Ohio University, Sarah Feldner at Marquette University in Milwaukee, and Jennifer Roberts at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Youngblade has been selected to serve as interim provost at Colorado State University, where she has served as dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences since 2019.
The women appointed to endowed positions in academia are Karen Frank at the University at Buffalo, George Washington University's Leandra Godoy at Children's National Hospital, and Beth Johnson at Pennsylvania State University.
