Karen Kopera-Frye of New Mexico State University was appointed to a four-year term as editor-in-chief of Gerontology & Geriatrics Education and Jessica Maddox of the University of Georgia was named the inaugural editor-in-chief of Creator and Influencer Studies.
Bowdoin College, the highly rated liberal arts educational institution in Brunswick, Maine, has announced the promotion of four women to the rank of associate professor: Ireri Elizabeth Chávez-Bárcenas, Samia Shabnam Rahimtoola, Mary Rogalski, and Maron Wein Sorenson. The four faculty members were also granted tenure.

Breana M. Ware is the inaugural general counsel at Spelman College. Dianne Pledger was named director of Winston-Salem State University's Diggs Art Gallery and Shontel Grumhaus was appointed senior vice president for development and external affairs at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
