Gail N. Norris was promoted to vice president and general counsel for the University of Rochester. Previously, Norris has served as senior legal counsel, director of the Office of Technology Transfer, and vice provost for technology transfer.
Norris is a graduate of Syracuse University and the Albany Law School of Union University.
Katrice A. Albert was appointed vice president for equity and diversity at the University of Minnesota. Since 2005, she has served as vice provost for equity, diversity, and community outreach and as the chief diversity officer at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She will assume her new duties on June 28, 2013.
Dr. Albert is a magna cum laude graduate of Xavier University in New Orleans. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and a doctorate in counseling psychology from Auburn University.
Susan M. Ford was appointed associate dean and director of the Graduate School at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She is a professor and interim chair of the department of anthropology at the university. Dr. Ford has been on the university’s faculty since 1980.
Dr. Ford is a graduate of Roanoke College in Virginia and holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ann McElwain was named assistant vice president for development at the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Florida. She has served in the post on an interim basis since August. Previously, she was an assistant vice president for development of the University of Florida Foundation and chief development officer for the university’s College of Engineering.
McElwain is a graduate of the University of Florida and holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.

A graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Dr. Taylor and holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Miami University of Ohio.

Winkelfoos is a 2003 graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, and holds a master’s degree in higher education administration from Kent State University in Ohio.

Newman is a graduate of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She holds a master’s degree in liberal studies from Duke University.

Currarino is a graduate of Pontificia Universidad Catolica in Lima, Peru. She earned an MBA at Harvard Business School.

Papoulias is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and holds a master of arts in law and diplomacy from Tufts University.

Blacker is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she majored in environmental studies.

Dr. Berg retired in 2009 as a brigadier general in the Hawaii Air National Guard. She holds a doctorate in educational psychology.

Reinhardt holds a master’s degree in arts management from Wayne State University in Detroit.

Dr. Whaley is a graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. She holds a master’s degree in journalism and an educational doctorate from Ohio State University.

Dr. Crittendon holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana University-South Bend. She earned a doctorate in educational administration from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
