
In her scholarly work, Dr. Yoon focuses on humor advertising and humor psychology in marketing. She also studies health and environmental issues in advertising and their impact on consumers, digital marketing, and network and sentiment analysis. Her career in academia began with the Temerlin Advertising Institute at Southern Methodist University in Texas, where she taught for nine years. She has been a tenured associate professor with the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication for the past six years.
Dr. Yoon received her bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Korea University. She holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in mass communication from the University of Georgia.
