The Rutgers School of Law-Camden in southern New Jersey has announced the appointment of four new faculty members. All four, who were named assistant professors, are women.
Katie R. Eyer is a magna cum laude graduate of Columbia University, where she majored in political science. She earned her law degree at Yale University. Since 2009 she has been a lecturer in law and research scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jean Galbraith was a Sharswood Fellow in Law and International Affairs at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Harvard University, where she majored in social studies and the comparative study of religion. She earned her law degree at Boalt Hall, the law school at the University of California at Berkeley. There, she was the editor-in-chief of the California Law Review.
Stacy Hawkins has served for the past two years as co-chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession Diversity Task Force. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Georgetown University Law Center.
Margo Kaplan was a visiting assistant professor at Brooklyn Law School. Before that, she served as director of planning and research for the Center for HIV Law and Policy. She is a graduate of Cornell University and earned a master of public administration degree from Harvard University and her law degree at New York University.
