A Quartet of Women Who Have Been Appointed Deans

Holly Wei has been named dean of the School of Nursing at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Wei has been serving as the associate dean for research and scholarship at East Tennessee State University College of Nursing.

Dr. Wei received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at North Carolina Central University in Durham. She holds a Ph.D. in nursing from the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jessica Clark has been named the new dean of the Creighton University College of Nursing in Omaha, Nebraska, effective January 8, 2024. She has been serving as dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Earlier, she was associate dean and director of the department of nursing at Bradley University, which included both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Dr. Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing administration from Indiana State University. She holds a doctor of nursing practice degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh.

Sarah Price was appointed dean of the College of Education at Florida A&M University. Dr. Price is a tenured professor with more than 35 years of experience in K-20 education. She has been interim dean of the College of Education since 2022.

A native of Martinsville, Virginia, Dr. Price holds a bachelor’s degree in health education and physical education from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte. She received a master’s degree in adapted physical education at Ohio State University and completed a doctorate in motor behavior at the University of Florida.

Ramah Campbell was named dean of public service and applied technology at Robeson Community College in Lumberton, North Carolina. Prior to being named an academic dean, she served as the director of customized training and construction development for the college.

Campbell is a graduate of Fayetteville State University. She earned an MBA at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina.
