Margaret L. Drugovich Selected to Lead Marietta College in Ohio

Margaret L. Drugovich was appointed interim president of Marietta College in Ohio. She will take office on July 1.

Marietta College, in the southeastern part of the state, enrolls just under 1,200 undergraduate students and fewer than 100 graduate students, according to the most recent statistics available from the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 49 percent of the undergraduate student body

Dr. Drugovich retired from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, in 2022 after serving 14 years as its president. Prior to her time at Hartwick, Dr. Drugovich was the vice president for strategic communications and university enrollment and vice president of admission and financial aid at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Dr. Drugovich is a graduate of Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut. She holds a master’s degree in medical sociology from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and a doctor of management degree from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
