Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas, Names Amy Bosley as Its Next President

Amy Bosley was selected as the new president of Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas. She will begin her new duties in July.
Northwest Vista College, a campus of the Alamo Community College District, enrolls more than 16,600 students, according to the most recent data from the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 60 percent of the student body.
“I am thrilled to have been selected as Northwest Vista’s third president,” said Dr. Bosley. “As NVC approaches its 30th anniversary, it is inspiring to look back at the impressive record of excellence in student access and success. I am excited to partner with the faculty, staff, community, and employers to build on this foundation,” she added.
Dr. Bosley has been serving as vice president for institutional planning and development, and as chief of staff at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Earlier, Dr. Bosley served as vice president of organizational development and human resources at the college. She has also taught communication courses at the graduate level at the University of Central Florida.
Dr. Bosley earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and a master’s degree in communication from the University of Central Florida. She holds a doctorate in higher education leadership and human resources from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
