Hamilton Grad Discovers She Is Related to the College’s First Graduate in 1814

Earlier this month Josephine Jones graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. It was not until January this year, that Jones found out that she is a direct descendent of the first graduate of Hamilton College, George Albion Calhoun, who earned his degree in 1814. Calhoun went on study for three years at Andover Theological Seminary. He later become pastor of the Church of Christ in North Coventry, Connecticut. He died in 1867.
