Jennifer Chambers-Taube will serve as the next vice chancellor for finance and operations and chief financial officer at Washington State Univerity, Vancouver, effective January 10. She last served as director of financial planning and analysis for Southern California University of Health Sciences.
Chambers-Taube is a graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She earned an MBA from Marylhurst Univerity in West Linn, Oregon, and a master’s degree in political science and government from Northeastern University in Boston.
Rosalind Dale has been named vice provost for engagement and outreach at North Carolina A&T State University. Dr. Dale has been associate dean for the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences and Cooperative Extension administrator at the university since 2015.
Dale earned a bachelor’s degree in home economics food and lodging management from Western Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in nutrition sciences from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. She holds a master’s degree in human services administration from Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership in Chicago and a doctorate in adult and continuing education from National Louis University.
Kelly Frick has been appointed interim medical director and director of Student Health Services at the University of Delaware. Dr. Frick has been on staff in Student Health Services since January 2016. Earlier, she was a full-time, family medicine attending physician with the Christiana Care Health System.
Dr. Frick has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She earned her medical doctorate and a doctor of medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Debra Bright has been named associate vice president for student affairs at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Most recently, she served as associate dean of student affairs at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. Prior to her 14-year tenure at Montgomery College, Dr. Bright served as the director of admissions and student services for George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
Dr. Bright holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University in New York. She earned a master’s degree in educational administration, planning, and social policy from Harvard University and a doctorate in higher education administration from George Washington University.
Dolly Horton is the new vice president of academic affairs and workforce development at Bladen Community College in Dublin, North Carolina. She has been serving as dean of health sciences at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama.
Dr. Horton is a graduate of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. She earned a master’s degree in education from Regent University in Virginia Beach and a doctorate in education from Walden University.
Nichole Ipach was appointed vice president for university relations and advancement at California State University, Northridge, effective January 1. She has been serving as vice president for university advancement at California State University, Channel Islands. She has been on the staff there since 2006.
Originally from Clovis, Ipach attended the University of California Santa Barbara, where she graduated with honors and a bachelor’s degree in English.
