Monica Green Will Be the Fourth President of Norco College in California

Monica Green has been named the fourth president of Norco College in Norco, California, effective April 1. The college is one of three educational institutions in the Riverside Community College District system, which includes Riverside City College and Moreno Valley College.
Norco College enrolls nearly 11,000 students according to the most recent statistics supplied to the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 53 percent of the student body.
“I am truly honored to be part of a community that understands the power of education and its ability to transform lives,” said Dr. Green. “I couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity and look forward to leading Norco College for years to come.”
Dr. Green has been serving as interim president of Norco College since July 1, 2019. Prior to this role, she was vice president of planning and development at Riverside City College. From 2009 to 2018, Dr. Green served as the dean and later vice president of the Student Services division at Norco College.
President Green holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social relations from the University of California, Riverside. She earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from California State University, San Bernardino and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.
