Two Women Among the Four Finalists for Director of the University of Georgia Press

The University of Georgia has announced four finalists for the position of director of the University of Georgia Press. The four candidates will all be visiting campus by the end of April. Two of the four finalists are women.
Kathryn Conrad is the sales and marketing director and interim director of the University of Arizona Press. She has led the sales team at the University of Arizona Press since 1995. She is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.
Lisa Bayer is marketing director and regional trade editor for the University of Illinois Press. She has previously held marketing posts at the Minnesota Historical Society Press, Redleaf Press, Southern Illinois University Press, and Penn State University Press.
Bayer holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
