Two Women Among the Four Finalists for Dean of Arts and Architecture at Montana State University

Montana State University in Bozeman has announced four finalists for the position of dean of the College of Arts and Architecture. Two of the four finalists are women. All four finalists will be visiting the Bozeman campus later this month.

Nancy C. Cornwell is a professor and chair of the department of television-radio at the Park School of Education at Ithaca College in New York. She currently is serving as interim vice president of academic affairs at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri.

Dr. Cornwell is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. She holds a master’s degree in telecommunications from the Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in media studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Christine Theodoropoulus is professor and chair of the department of architecture at the University of Oregon in Eugene. She is a licensed architect and a registered professional civil engineer in the state of California.

Professor Theodoropoulus is a graduate of Princeton University, where she majored in civil engineering. She holds a master’s degree in architecture from Yale University.
