
Currently Dr. Pineres is executive vice president of academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Austin College in Texas. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago. She earned a Ph.D. in economics from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Dr. Amar is the co-author of A Practical Guide to Forensic Nursing: Incorporating Forensic Principles into Nursing Practice (Nursing Knowledge, 2015). She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Louisiana State University and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. McGahan’s research focuses on ocular physiology and pharmacology and the biochemistry of the lens and retina. She holds a doctorate in pharmacology from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
