The Next Chancellor of the North Orange County Community College District

The new president of the North Orange County Community College District, Cheryl MarshallCheryl Marshall was appointed chancellor of the North Orange County Community College District in California, effective July 1. The community college district includes Cypress College with about 16,000 students, Fullerton College with about 25,000 students, and an extensive School of Continuing Education.

For the past four years, Dr. Marshall has served as president of Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa, California. The two-year college enrolls about 6,000 students. Earlier she spent eight years at Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California, serving in a variety of administrative posts.

Dr. Marshall is a graduate of the University of Memphis, where she majored in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in industrial/organizational psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a doctorate in education from the University of Southern California.
