Hollins University Professor Wins Book Award

Elizabeth O. Dulemba, an associate professor at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia, has received the Green Earth Book Award from the Nature Generation. The award honors the authors of books for children or young adults that convey a strong message of environmental stewardship.
Dulemba was honored for her book A Bird on Water Street (Little Pickle Press, 2014). She is the author of two dozens children’s book titles.
At Hollins University, Dulemba teaches courses in picture book design and also in the master of fine arts program in children’s book writing and illustrating. She holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia.
