One Woman Among the Four Finalists for Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University

Colorado State University in Fort Collins has announced a field of four finalists for the position of dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences. All four candidates will visit the Colorado State campus by the end of the first week in April for a series of interviews and forums with students and faculty. One of the four candidates is a woman.

Jane Kolodinsky is a professor, chair of the department of community development and applied economics, and director of the Center for Rural Studies at the University of Vermont. She joined the faculty at the university in 1987 and has chaired her department for the past 15 years.

Dr. Kolodinsky holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics and nutrition and an MBA with a concentration in marketing from Kent State University in Ohio. She earned a Ph.D. in consumer economics at Cornell University.
