Rebecca Tsosie was named associate vice provost for academic excellence and inclusion at Arizona State University. She is a Regents Professor in the university’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
Professor Tsosie has been on the faculty at Arizona State University since 1993. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a juris doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Ann Hild was named interim associate vice president for graduate studies at the University of Wyoming. She is a professor of ecosystem science and management.
Professor Hild is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she majored in anthropology. She earned a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in range and wildlife management at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
Carol T. Christ was appointed director of the Center for Studies in Higher Education at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a professor emerita of English at the university and is the former president of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Dr. Christ first joined the Berkeley faculty in 1970 after earning a Ph.D. at Yale University. At Berkeley, she served as chair of the Department of English, dean of the Division of Humanities and provost of the College of Letters and Science.

A native of Chile, Dr. Ehlers-Zavala joined the faculty at Colorado State in 2006. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in English from Illinois State University.

Dr. Perry Johnson holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in animal and dairy science from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Georgia.

Cliffe is a graduate of the University of Cambridge in England. She holds a master’s degree in international relations and economic policy from Columbia University.

Gallipeau is a graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse and earned an MBA at the University of Maryland.

Austin earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in public health, with concentrations in health and hospital management, from the University of Michigan and a juris doctorate from Cleveland State University.
