Kecia Thomas was named associate dean for faculty leadership development and diversity in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia. She is a professor of industrial/organizational psychology at the university and has been on the faculty since 1993.
Dr. Thomas is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where she majored in psychology and Spanish. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Pennsylvania State University.
Ingrid S. Stafford was promoted to vice president for financial operations at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Since 2006, she has been an associate vice president and treasurer at the university. Stafford has been on the university’s staff since 1977.
Stafford is a graduate of Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in finance and nonprofit management from Northwestern University.
Leanne Ketterlin-Geller was named director of the K-12 STEM Initiative for the Caruth Institute for Engineering Education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She is an associate professor of education policy and leadership and director of research for the Simmons School’s Research in Mathematics Education unit. She has been on the SMU faculty since 2009.
Dr. Ketterlin-Geller is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she majored in marine biology. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Oregon.
Klara Jelinkova was appointed vice president for information technology and chief information officer at Rice University in Houston, Texas. She has been serving as senior associate vice president and chief technology officer at the University of Chicago. She will begin her new job in January.
Jelinkova is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where she majored in economics and Slavic languages.
Kirsten Dauphinais is the new director of bar passage and academic success at the University of North Dakota School of Law. She is the Law School Builders of the Profession Professor of Law and joined the law school faculty in 2005.
Professor Dauphinais is a magna cum laude graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. She earned her law degree at Columbia University.
Natalie Lutz was named director of communications for the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. She was vice president for university relations at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Lutz is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she majored in journalism.
Ann Copeland was appointed director of cataloging and metadata services for University Libraries at Pennsylvania State University. Since 2001, she has been the special collections cataloging librarian.
Copeland is a graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, and holds a master of library and information science degree from Columbia University.
