Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, has announced three candidates for the new position of senior vice provost for instructional innovation. The new senior vice provost will work with the university’s chief information officer and the Office of Information Technology to develop and maintain appropriate programs for ongoing faculty development and student achievement. All three candidates will participate in university forums by the end of the month. One of the three finalists is a woman.
Donnie Sendelbach is the director of instructional and learning services and director of the information technology associates program at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. Dr. Sendelbach is a graduate of Grinnell College in Iowa. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Slavic languages from Ohio State University.

Cheryl Norman was appointed president of Ridgewater College in Minnesota and Ellen Kennedy was named interim president of Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Scarlatta has led the University of Michigan-Dearbon on an interim basis for the past year. Pending approval from the board of regents, she is slated to become the university's permanent leader on May 22.
Nicole Reaves has been serving as executive vice president and chief programs officer at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. On July 15, she is slated to become the first woman president of Schenectady County Community College within the State University of New York System.
The selected candidate should have expertise and experience in theoretical models in labor and public economics as well as in microeconometrics and programming.
