Fresno State University Names Its Next Provost

Lynnette Zelezny has been selected to be the next provost and vice president for academic affairs at Fresno State University in California. She will take office on June 1.
Dr. Zelezny has been on the faculty at the university since 1988 and currently serves as associate provost. She has served as a professor of psychology, chair of the psychology department, associate dean of the business school, and dean for continuing and global education.
Dr. Zelezny holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California. She holds an MBA from Fresno State University and a Ph.D. in applied social psychology from the Claremont Graduate University.
