Martha S. Shull was promoted to vice chancellor for academic affairs at Arkansas State University-Newport. She was the director of the PACE grant program in developmental education and English. Before joining the staff at Arkansas State, she was the director of a Perkins grant program at Black River Technical College.
Dr. Shull holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She also earned a master’s degree at the University of Dayton.
Joan Darden was named interim vice president for student affairs at Darton State College in Albany, Georgia. Dr. Darden was on the staff at the university for 30 years until her retirement in 2009 as vice president for academic affairs. She has been serving as director of international nursing programs and a professor of nursing at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia.
Dr Darden is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a doctorate in higher education administration from Georgia State University.
Julie Beckman was appointed director of student services for the College of Architecture and Design at the University of Tennessee. She has been serving as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania. Beckman is a practicing architect and designed the Pentagon’s 9-11 Memorial and the Space Shuttle Columbia Memorial.
Beckman is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She holds a master of architecture degree from Columbia University in New York.

Dr. Davis holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.

Song is a graduate of Montana State University-Northern in Havre. She holds a master’s degree in leadership from Bellevue University in Nebraska.

Dr. Marshall holds, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Selinsky is a graduate of the University of Southern Colorado, where she majored in biology. She holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Colorado State University.

Schmidlkofer is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
