Three Women Taking on New Roles as Deans

Sandsnaddaffra F. Naddaff was appointed dean of the Harvard Summer School. As dean of the Summer School, Dr. Naddaff will oversee the work of 6,000 students enrolled in 300 courses on Harvard’s campus and around the world. She is a senior lecturer of literature at Harvard.

Dr. Naddaff holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from Harvard University.

Jessica-Berg-CWRUJessica Berg was named one of two acting deans of the School of Law at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. Berg is a professor of law, bioethics, and public health at the law school. She has been on the law faculty at Case Western Reserve University since 1999.

Professor Berg is a graduate of Cornell University and the Cornell Law School. She also holds a master of public health degree from Case Western Reserve University.

blackstadAna Henrnandez Blackstad was appointed dean for student success at Bellevue College in Washington State. She was director of student advising and support services at Cascadia Community College in Bothell, Washington.

Blackstad is a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She earned a master’s degree in student development administration from Seattle University.
