Prema Arasu to Lead the Olathe Campus of Kansas State University

arasuPrema Arasu was named provost and CEO of the Olathe campus of Kansas State University. The Olathe campus of the university serves the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Dr. Arasu was vice provost of international programs at Washington State University. Previously she was a professor of comparative biomedical sciences and director of global health initiatives at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Dr. Arasu is a graduate of the National University of Malaysia. She holds a master’s degree in food science from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. She earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine at Cornell University and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Drexel University.
