
Dr. Arasu was vice provost of international programs at Washington State University. Previously she was a professor of comparative biomedical sciences and director of global health initiatives at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
Dr. Arasu is a graduate of the National University of Malaysia. She holds a master’s degree in food science from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. She earned a doctorate of veterinary medicine at Cornell University and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from Drexel University.
