Meredith College Teams Up With William Peace University for a Joint Bachelor’s/MBA Degree Program

Meredith College, an institution that focuses on the education of women in Raleigh, North Carolina, and William Peace University, also in Raleigh, have formalized an agreement that provides a new, accelerated degree option. Through this program, students at William Peace University will be able to complete a bachelorʼs degree and earn an MBA from Meredith College in five years. While traditional undergraduate programs at Meredith are exclusively for women, the college’s graduate programs are co-educational. The college enrolls nearly 300 students in graduate programs.

As they work to complete the undergraduate coursework in four years, students at William Peace University will be able to take two Meredith graduate courses during their senior year – giving them the opportunity to finish their MBA in just one more year. Graduates from the program will leave with a WPU bachelorʼs degree and a Meredith MBA.

“I am pleased that our relationship with WPU is another example of the ways higher education partnerships promote access for students and pathways to success while minimizing replicative costs,” said Jo Allen, president of Meredith College. “This kind of collaboration helps keep the cost of higher education in check and opens doors for students in empowering ways.”
