In Memoriam: Jill Carol Dustin, 1959-2017

Jill DustinJill Dustin, an associate professor in the department of counseling and human services in the Darden College of Education at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, died on January 30. She was 57 years old.

Dr. Dustin joined the faculty at Old Dominion University in 1998. She served as coordinator of the university’s human services from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, she was named a University Professor. Professor Dustin served as an associate editor of the Journal for Human Services.

Dr. Dustin is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. She held a master’s degree and a doctorate in counselor education and supervision from the University of Cincinnati.
