New Administrative Posts for Five Women at Major Universities

mcmillinJennifer McMillin was appointed director of sustainability at Cleveland State University in Ohio. She was serving as chair of the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Working Group on Corporate Sustainability.

McMillin is the former sustainability officer for the Australian National University.

jeanne-durr-webJeanne Durr was named associate vice president for human resources at the University of Wyoming. She has been serving as executive director of human resources at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

Durr is a graduate of Portland State University in Oregon and the law school of Lewis and Clark College in Portland.

walizer_kit_oct2016Kit Walizer was appointed director of development for the School of Nursing at West Virginia University. She was the director of development for the Shippensburg University Foundation in Pennsylvania.

Walizer is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where she majored in speech communications.

Joanna N. Ravello was promoted to director of community and organizational development at the University of Rhode Island. She was the assistant director of the Talent Development program at the university.

A native of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Ravello moved to the United States at the age of 6. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Rhode Island and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

tuckerKristan Tucker was promoted to Title IX coordinator at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She has been serving at senior deputy Title IX coordinator. Before joining the staff at Baylor, Tucker was a Title IX investigator at East Carolina University.

Tucker is a graduate of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, where she majored in speech communication. She holds a master’s degree from the University of North Texas in Denton and a law degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
