A Quartet of Women Taking on New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

carolynbostickCarrolyn J. Bostick is the new vice president of human resources at Howard University in Washington, D.C. She was the assistant administrator for human resource management at the Federal Aviation Administration.

Bostick is a graduate of Ambassador College, where she majored in communication. She holds a master’s degree in organizational communication from Howard University.

alexis-quinn-webAlexis Quinn was appointed sports information director at Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She was a website developer for PrestoSports, which provide website management and live statistics applications to college athletics programs.

Previously Quinn was the assistant sports information director at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

robin-mcfallRobin B. McFall was named director of Bridge to Clemson and other transfer programs at Clemson University in South Carolina. She has been on the faculty of Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, South Carolina for more than 25 years.

McFall holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in education from Clemson University.

angelakatesAngela Kates was appointed chief of staff for the vice president of administration at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. She was serving as vice president of internal communication for Aflac Inc.

Kates is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Ohio. She earned a master’s degree in communication from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
