Joanne Bruno Named Provost at East Stroudsburg University

Joanne-BrunoJoanne Zakartha Bruno was appointed provost and vice president of academic affairs at East Stroudsburg University, a campus of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Dr. Bruno has been serving as vice president of academic initiatives and services at New Jersey City University. She has been on the staff at New Jersey City University for nearly two decades.

Dr. Bruno is a summa cum laude graduate of Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. She holds master’s degrees from Pennsylvania State University and Columbia University and a law degree from Rutgers University.

Dr. Bruno will begin her new job at East Stroudsburg University in March.
