Amy Marie Haddad to Lead the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities

amy_haddadAmy Marie Haddad, who holds the Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Endowed Chair in the Health Sciences and is director of the Center for Health Policy & Ethics at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, was chosen as president-elect of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities. She will serve as president-elect for two years and then become president of the society for the next two years. The society has about 2,000 members.

Professor Haddad is a graduate of Creighton University. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and a doctorate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
