The New Provost at Marietta College

sproles-karyn1Karyn Z. Sproles was appointed provost and dean of the faculty at Marietta College in Ohio. She has been serving as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Carlow University in Pittsburgh. Before joining the staff at Carlow University she was an English department faculty member at James Madison University and before that at Hamline University.

Dr. Sproles is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. She holds a master’s degree from and a Ph.D. in English from SUNY-Buffalo.
